Our
salon is leading the way for natural and organic products in Toowoomba.
Our aim is to provide a range of services and to be able to be
more environmentally friendly as well as conscious of the health
of our clients as well as our own.
We
have introduced Everescents Certified Organic hair care, Chi Ammonia
Free Hair colour and we use natural cleaning products within our
salon where possible. I have personally researched and tested
these product ranges and use them myself.
We
pride ourselves in our training and thirst for knowledge as well
as our customer service. Education and training are paramount
for the team of Urban Hi-Lights so as to maintain an excellent
standard of both technical and product support knowledge and to
keep our loyal clients at the forefront of fashion.
We strive to provide the best customer service possible which
is why we have designed training for our staff on new techniques,
salon procedures, detailed information on our products and customer
service. We are constantly improving ourselves to improve our
salon.We
have been working hard to create a great business family.
To
improve our salon we have introduced new services in the last
few years including our Nanokeratin treatment (refer to treatment
menu for more details) and our environmentally friendly
products and services.
We
welcome change, have the maturity to create and maintain change
in ourselves, and every individual we have the privilege of
coming in contact with.
We
also welcome Tracey and Carol from Beauty & Brides to our salon. Tracey and Carol offer natural spray tanning, nails, extraordinary nail art, waxing and make-up. They operate with in our salon and we work together to incorporate you hair and beauty appointment to accommodate our often time poor clients. Urban Hi-lights, in conjunction with Beauty & Brides, also offerhair and beauty packages for weddings. This new service allows you, and your bridal party, to have your hair, make up and beauty treatments at the salon or in the privacy of your own pre-wedding accommodation!

WHAT'S THE URBAN HI-LIGHTS TEAM BEEN UP TO LATELY?
Urban Hi-Lights was a finalist in the Queensland Training Awards 2009 for Small Employer of the Year. This award recognises excellence in Training across all industries employing apprentices. This year We have entered into the Small Employer category and Angela is an Entrant for the Apprentice of the Year. Fingers Crossed!
Urban Hi-Lights and Beauty & Brides have been attending wedding expos over the last 18 months. We have found it to be a great way to advertise our large array of services and to show case our work on the catwalk during the displays. We have created some fantastic styles and been able to work with some fantastic people in the industry.
Urban Hi-Lights has hosted a Hair and Make-up demonstration evening to help educate our clients and friends style their hair and do their make-up at home. Some people find it hard to do these things themselves so we have given clients tips on how to make the most of their styles at home. We talked about product selection and how different hair types have different needs to achieve the desired result.
